COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTER

Title: Pediatric Coordinator-  FT R
Location:  West New York
General Description:  Coordinate and monitor all aspects of daily operations of the Pediatric Department. Responsible for scheduling staff based on patient needs and visit volume. Provide supervision and guidance to staff, delegates' responsibilities, evaluates staff performance and encourages professional growth. Facilitates the maintenance of JCAHO standards and HIPPA compliance. Assists in the maintenance of monthly statistics for submission to the Director of Clinical Services. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and licensing agencies with respect to quality patient care and facility standards.Participate in the development of standards, policies and procedures. Other miscellaneous duties assigned
Qualifications: Valid New Jersey License, BS-Management, Registered Nurse/LPN
Experience: 2 years progressive years experience in health care
Hours:  40 Hours per Week
Salary:  Commensurate with experience

 


Title:  Dental Hygienist-  FT R
Location:  110 Main Avenue-Passaic
General Description:  Patient screening procedure; such as assessment of oral health conditions, review of health history. Optimal removal of plaque, tartar, and bacteria above and below the gum line. Taking and developing dental radiographs (x-rays). Treatment of gingivitis and periodontitis.
Qualifications:  State of New Jersey License-Dental Hygienist.  2 years experience in dental care preferred. Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Hours:  40 Hours per Week
Salary:  Commensurate with experience

Title:  Dental Assistant-  PT R
Location:  Dental Mobile Van
General Description: Ability to chart decays and other abnormalities. Reproduce and make radiography exposures. Assist licensed dentist in all phases of treatment/procedures Perform 4-hand dentistry. Sterilize and select instruments, assemble materials and equipment. Other miscellaneous duties assigned.
Qualifications:  Dental Assistant certification required. Current NJS Radiography license required. Minimum 0-2 year's experience. OSHA Certification highly desirable. Bi-lingual-(English/Spanish) verbal/written communication skills desirable.
Hours:  20-24/hours per week
Salary:  $13.00 per hour



 

Title:  Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) - School Based -  FT R
Location:  Health Center
General Description:  Provide treatment services at school based clinic for student program participants.  Work collaboratively with other program staff including those offering "Strengthening Families" program.  Maintain all treatment records and programmatic data.
Qualifications:  Bachelors or Masters level social worker with appropriate licensing.  1-2 years experience in a mental health setting providing patient counseling.  Experience with short term treatment is a plus.  Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Hours:  40 Hours per Week
Salary:  Commensurate with experience





Title:  Pediatrician
Location:  NHCAC Health Center - West New York
General Description:  Diagnose, treat, and help prevent children's diseases and injuries. Examine to determine presence of diseases and establish preventative health practices. Prescribe and administer medications and immunizations.
Qualifications:  MD, NJ medical license and 3 years residency in Pediatrics.
Hours:  Full-Time Regular

Title: Part Time Health Advocate 
Location: Head Start/Early Head Start Programs
Department: Head Start/Early Head Start                                                                                                                                                      
General Description: Conduct immunization review and monitor immunization status of children. Conduct monthly fire drills. Assist with coordination of, restocking of First Aid Kits and providing updated emergency postings at centers, as deemed necessary by supervisor. Attend health related meeting as requested by supervisor. Work with children requiring the ability to walk or run quickly, kneel or sit on floor, bend, and lift, walk over rough or uneven ground, exposure to weather, etc.
Qualifications: HS Diploma(AA preferred) plus one year experience working with children and families. Background in health care related field. Current physical examination and TB screen documentation upon hire. Adequate means in transportation. Fluent in English both verbally and written
