The North Hudson Community Action Foundation was created in the Spring of 2002 to support the health and social services of North Hudson Community Action Corporation. North Hudson Community Action Corporation has been a symbol of hope and stability in Hudson County, New Jersey for over 42 years.

The North Hudson Community Action Foundation mission statement, BUILDING A BETTER TOMORROW, is the perfect complement for North Hudson Community Action Corporation’s mission statement, PEOPLE HELPING PEOPLE BUILD STRONG COMMUNITIES.

The Foundation is committed to both these mission statements through the raising of monies and resources needed to accomplish the organization’s goals. The North Hudson Community Action Foundation Board, a growing body of businessmen and women, civic leaders, and powerful individuals whose commonality is the dream of a better tomorrow, will work together to solicit new community partnerships, sponsorships and other support.

One of our long-term goals is the creation of a Nursing Scholarship Program that will generate opportunities for Hudson County men and women interested in a Nursing career. This will create valuable career potential, affording us expertise in our own backyard, and offering Hudson County families a unique combination of quality, and true understanding of their needs.

The Foundation looks forward with great anticipation to a fruitful and meaningful future, especially in these extraordinary times when support of our communities is paramount.
